Plans that fit how you watch

Time is counted only while the voice is speaking, not while a page sits open. Pauses between lines are not charged. Text reading is counted in characters, and only for text that is actually read aloud: stop halfway through an article and the rest is never charged. AI voice, AnyDub Cloud and Smart (AI) renew at midnight UTC (the extension shows the exact time on your clock); live speech and reading renew at your local midnight.

A typical news story runs about 1 200 characters, so the free plan covers two or three of them a day. A long Wikipedia article is 15 000 to 16 000 characters. That needs Pro, which covers one big article a day, or Pro Max, which has no cap at all.

The regular and Google voices are the ones your browser already has. They are unlimited on every plan, including Free. The neural AI voice sounds close to a real person and comes from a separate service, which is why it has a daily limit, even on the paid plans.

In LIVE mode you choose who recognises speech. “Google” is free and fine for everyday use. “Offline Lite” or “Offline Pro” works right on your computer. The sound never leaves it, but the computer works harder. “AnyDub Cloud” is the most accurate: it copes best with technical terms, accents and speech over music, and it doesn't slow your computer down. Without signing in you get 1 minute to try; after signing in, a 10-minute gift and 2 minutes every day. Pro gets 30 minutes a day, Pro Max 3 hours and Lifetime 1 hour a day.

It is a translator mode: AI translates by meaning, not word for word, and remembers several earlier phrases. A regular translator handles each phrase on its own and gets lost in technical terms and mixed languages. For example, an Arabic lecture full of English medical words. Turn it on with the “Smart (AI)” button in the Translator block; it works with any recognition. Without signing in you get 1 minute to try; after signing in, a 3-minute gift and 1 minute every day. Pro gets 3 minutes a day, Pro Max 10 minutes and Lifetime 5 minutes a day; after that, purchased minutes are used.

Almost: the same features and daily limits, bought once instead of monthly. Two limits are smaller because they cost us money every minute: AnyDub Cloud is 1 hour a day instead of 3, and Smart (AI) is 5 minutes a day instead of 10. After that, purchased minutes are used. At $9.99 a month, Lifetime pays for itself after five months. It also includes priority email support and every future update.

Not for the free plan. Install the extension and it works. You only need to sign in for the free cloud-recognition minutes. Paid plans need an account so your plan follows you between computers: sign in from the extension popup with the email you used at checkout.
