Questions people ask

What does a daily limit actually mean?

Time is counted only while the voice is speaking, not while a page sits open — pauses between lines are not charged. Text reading is counted in characters, and only for text that is actually read aloud: stop halfway through an article and the rest is never charged. Every limit resets at midnight, your local time.

How much is 3 000 characters, really?

A typical news story runs about 1 200 characters, so the free plan covers two or three of them a day. A long Wikipedia article is 15 000–16 000 characters — that needs Pro, which covers one big article a day, or Pro Max, which has no cap at all.

What is the difference between the regular voice and the AI voice?

The regular and Google voices are the ones your browser already has. They are unlimited on every plan, including Free. The neural AI voice sounds close to a real person and comes from a separate service, which is why it has a daily limit — even on the paid plans.

Is Lifetime the same as Pro Max?

Yes — the same features and the same daily limits, bought once instead of monthly. At $9.99 a month, Lifetime pays for itself after five months. It also includes priority email support and every future update.

Do I need an account?

Not for the free plan — install the extension and it works. Paid plans need an account so your plan follows you between computers: sign in from the extension popup with the email you used at checkout.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 14 days, no questions asked. See the Refund Policy. Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, who also takes care of invoicing and any applicable tax.
