Terms of Service — Pascual Labs

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pascual Labs website at browser-tools.app and our browser extensions (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Pascual Labs is the name under which an independent developer builds browser extensions and the website at browser-tools.app. References to "we", "us" or "our" in these Terms mean Pascual Labs. Payments are handled by our Merchant of Record, Freemius (see "Payments and billing" below), which is the seller of record for every purchase.

2. Using our extensions

Our browser extensions are provided to you free of charge for personal use, subject to fair use and the limits described on each product's page. You agree not to:

Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to violate the rights of others.
Use the Services to translate or process content you do not have the right to access.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or extract the source code of our extensions, except to the extent allowed by applicable law.
Use the Services in a way that interferes with their normal operation or with other users.
Resell, repackage or re-distribute the Services without our written permission.

3. Third-party platforms

Our extensions are designed to work alongside third-party platforms such as Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, Vimeo and Rutube. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these platforms, and your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of our extensions on those platforms is consistent with the platforms' own rules and applicable law.

4. Free tier, subscriptions and one-time purchases

All Pascual Labs extensions are free to install and use at their standard tier. We also offer optional paid plans: subscriptions (for example Pro and Pro Max) and one-time purchases (for example the Lifetime plan, minute packs and Super hours). What each plan or purchase includes is shown on the product page and at checkout at the time of purchase, subject to section 7.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled; you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals. One-time purchases do not renew. Prices may change at any time: a new price applies to new purchases and, for subscriptions, from the next renewal after we have given any notice required by law. Prices and taxes are shown at checkout and may vary by country. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

5. Payments and billing

All purchases are sold and processed by Freemius, which acts as the Merchant of Record and seller of record for the transaction. This means Freemius, not Pascual Labs, is the party you buy from for payment purposes. Freemius handles payment processing, invoicing, and the collection and remittance of applicable taxes.

By making a purchase you also agree to Freemius's buyer terms, which apply in addition to these Terms. Paid access and credits are delivered to the Pascual Labs account with the email address used at checkout; sign in with that email to use them. Billing, renewals and cancellations are described in section 4 above, and refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Pascual Labs name, logo, branding, website content and extension source code are owned by Pascual Labs and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or branding.

Translated text and generated audio produced by the Services are the result of third-party translation and AI providers. Your rights to that content depend on the underlying source content and the providers' terms.

7. AnyDub: early access, minute packs, Super hours and Lifetime

Pascual AnyDub is in active development (early access). We continuously add, change, rename, limit and remove features, modes, quality tiers, recognition, translation and voice engines, languages, daily limits and the contents of plans and packs. Any of this can change at any time, with or without notice. Descriptions on our website, in the extension and at checkout reflect the product at that moment, not a promise that it will stay the same.

What a pack is. Minute packs and Super hours are prepaid usage credits for the features listed at the time of purchase. They are not a guarantee that any specific feature, engine, provider, voice, language, speed or quality level will remain available. If a feature is changed or removed, your remaining credits may be applied to the closest equivalent feature.
How usage is counted. Usage is measured by our servers. Some features are counted by audio time and some by processing cost (for example, Smart (AI) and Super). Small differences between what you see and what is counted can occur. Our server records are what count.
Credits. Credits are tied to the email address of your account, are personal and non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash or other products, and have no value outside the Services, except where the law or our Refund Policy says otherwise.
Lifetime. "Lifetime" means for as long as we offer AnyDub and the Lifetime plan, not for the lifetime of a person. The limits and features included in Lifetime may change in the same way as other plans.
Third-party providers. Many features rely on services of third parties (for example Google, Microsoft, Yandex, Cloudflare, DeepSeek and Google Gemini). They may change, limit, slow down or stop their services at any time. We may switch providers without notice. We are not responsible for their outages, changes or quality.
Fair use and capacity. To keep the Services working for everyone, we may set overall daily capacity limits, slow down or pause features, and limit, suspend or close accounts used for abuse, automation, resale or account sharing, including their unused credits.
Availability. We may pause or stop AnyDub or any of its features. If we permanently stop a paid feature, we will try to give notice on our website; your rights to a refund, if any, are described in our Refund Policy and by applicable law.

8. Your content and your responsibility

You alone decide what you translate, dub, transcribe, read aloud, record, download or share with the Services, and you are solely responsible for it.

You must have the right to access and use the content you process, and you must follow applicable law and the rules of the platforms you use, including copyright, privacy and data-protection law.
Recording or transcribing calls, meetings, lectures or streams may require the consent of the people involved. Getting that consent is your responsibility.
We do not review, monitor or approve the content you process, and we are not responsible for it or for what you do with translations, subtitles or audio produced from it.
Personal use only. Translations, subtitles, voice-overs, dubbed audio and downloads (such as SRT, TXT and MP3 files) produced with the Services are for your own personal, non-commercial use. Videos, captions and other content you watch belong to their creators and the platforms that host them. You may not publish, upload, broadcast, sell or otherwise distribute translated or dubbed versions of that content, or use them commercially, without the permission of the rights holders.
You must not use the Services to infringe the rights of others, to harass anyone, to create or spread misleading, defamatory or illegal content, or to present automated translations as official or certified ones.
You agree to indemnify and hold Pascual Labs harmless from any claims, losses and costs arising from the content you process or from your use of the Services in breach of these Terms or the law.

9. No warranty

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". We don't warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or always accurate. Translations are produced by automated systems and may contain mistakes; you should not rely on them for legal, medical, financial or safety-critical purposes. Automated speech recognition, translation and voices can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of sync, offensive or wrong in meaning, and features may be unavailable at times. You use them at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pascual Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability to you in any matter related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (which, for free users, is zero).

11. Termination

You can stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling our extensions. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, including paid plans and unused credits, if you violate these Terms, abuse the Services, or if we are required to do so by law. In that case no refund is due, except where the law requires otherwise.

12. Accounts

Accounts are optional and use one-time codes sent by email or sign-in with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for everything done through your Pascual Labs account. An account is for one person; it must not be shared or sold. We are not responsible for losses caused by someone else using your email or account, or by losing access to your email address.

13. Who can use the Services

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law of your country sets a higher minimum age for using online services without parental consent. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your country), you may make purchases only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

14. Resolving problems

If something goes wrong, please contact us first at browsx.support@gmail.com and describe the problem. We will try to solve it informally within 30 days, and we ask you to give us that chance before starting any formal claim or payment dispute. Nothing in these Terms takes away the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of the country where you live, including your right to bring a claim there.

15. General

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Pascual Labs about the Services.
Severability. If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in force, and the invalid part is applied to the greatest extent the law allows.
No waiver. If we do not enforce a right or a part of these Terms, that is not a waiver of it.
Assignment. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms, for example to a successor business. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.
Events beyond our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of third-party providers, networks or hosting, cyberattacks, natural disasters, war, government actions or power failures.
Language. These Terms are written in English and translated into other languages for convenience. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version prevails, to the extent permitted by law.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time and will update the "Last updated" date above. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will give at least 14 days' notice on our website (and, where we can, by email to account holders) before it takes effect, unless the change is required sooner by law, by a payment or platform provider, or to protect the Services and their users. Continued use of the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
