Every subreddit, in your language.
Translate posts and comment threads across all of Reddit. Lurk in non-English subreddits without losing the joke, the context, or the niche slang.
Built for Reddit, end to end.
Auto-translate, live
Messages translate the instant they appear on your screen — no clicking, no hovering, no copy-paste.
Smart Mode
Detects which messages aren't in your language and translates only those. The rest are left alone.
DeepL & Google
Switch between DeepL's natural phrasing and Google Translate's broad coverage. You pick the engine.
90+ languages
From Japanese and Korean to Portuguese, Arabic and Turkish — every major language is covered.
per-subreddit settings

Every incoming message translates inline the moment it appears. Original stays one tap away.
Questions, answered.
Is Reddit Translator free?
Yes. Every feature is currently free. When Pascual Labs Pro launches later this year, the free tier will keep a generous daily translation allowance — no card, no account required.
Does it work with the Reddit mobile app?
It works with Reddit in Chrome (and other Chromium browsers) on desktop. Browser extensions can't run inside the native iOS or Android apps.
Does it store or read my private messages?
No. Each message is translated on the fly and nothing is retained. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Which translation engines does it use?
DeepL or Google Translate — switch between them in the settings. DeepL tends to feel more natural for European languages; Google has the widest coverage.
Is this an official Reddit product?
No. Reddit Translator is built by Pascual Labs and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Reddit.
