Is Instagram Translator free?

Yes. Every feature is currently free. When Pascual Labs Pro launches later this year, the free tier will keep a generous daily translation allowance — no card, no account required.

Does it work with the Instagram mobile app?

It works with Instagram in Chrome (and other Chromium browsers) on desktop. Browser extensions can't run inside the native iOS or Android apps.

Does it store or read my private messages?

No. Each message is translated on the fly and nothing is retained. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Which translation engines does it use?

DeepL or Google Translate — switch between them in the settings. DeepL tends to feel more natural for European languages; Google has the widest coverage.

Is this an official Instagram product?
