Does it work with the Discord desktop app?
It works with the Discord web app in Chrome (and Chromium browsers). The standalone desktop app isn't a browser, so extensions can't run inside it.
Does it store or read my private messages?
No. Each message is translated on the fly and nothing is retained. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Which translation engines does it use?
DeepL or Google Translate — switch between them per server. DeepL feels more natural in European languages; Google has the widest coverage.
